ફિલોસોફીને સમજવાની જિજ્ઞાસા ધરાવનાર મિત્રોને વિનંતિ---- ''કમાંડીંગ ફિલોસોફર [ દાર્શનિક ]--આતાતુર્ક મુસ્તફા કમાલ પાશા.'' શિર્ષકથી મેં મારી નોટ મૂકી છે. રાજકારણમાં રસ અને અભ્યાસ ધરાવનાર દરેક વ્યક્તિ માટે તુર્કના આ રાષ્ટપિતા વિષે જાણવું અનિવાર્ય છે. આપણા રાષ્ટ્રપિતા મહાત્મા ગાંધી કરતા અનેકો ઘણા મહાન, તુર્કના રાષ્ટ્રપિતા છે, તો તેમનામાં શું મહાનતા છે, તેનો અભ્યાસ મારી નોંધમાં રજુ થયો છે. તુર્ક એ ઈસ્લામિક ખલિપાતનો દેશ, અને એ જ દેશમાંથી ઈસ્લામ જેવા ધર્મના પ્રભાવ સમાન ખલિપાતને નાબૂદ કરવાનું પ્રણ અમલમાં મૂકી શકનાર આ મહાન વિભૂતીને જાણવું સમજવું એ આજના સમયની સર્વાધિક જરૂરિયાત છે. સાહિત્ય--રાજકારણ--પત્રકારિત્વના ક્ષેત્રમાં કામ કરનારાએ તો ખાસ રસ લેવા જેવો વિષય છે.

  Bharatbhai R Pandya Yes Sir. I agree with you that Kamaala Ataturk was a great man. He wanted to change an orthodox society into a modern one. He was greater than this " soonthne gaangade bani bethela Gandhi " Gandhi wanted to take India back to olden times and do away with the scientific advancements . ----- I learnt about Ataturk during my high school days when there was a lesson in English on him. Since then he had caught my imagination.... I lost track of that imagination as I joined service, then after being free I again went after him at the age of 70 or so and as a regular  visitor to " Old and New Book Store  "situated at Kalbadevi Road, Bombay, I saw his biography ' The Grey Wolf ' by H C Armstrong , I entered into argument on price and put the book on the shelf, then went towards Metro Cinema, after walking some distance of say 100 paces , I decided to purchase the book at the demanded price and went back to the store , asked for the book and was shocked to learn that after my departure from the store, one man came and purchased the coveted book, since then this book is eluding me and I am trying from various sources but am not able to locate the book. Then i have formed a habit of purchasing books at the place and never put it back  on the sellers' stand                                                                                                   !Bharat Mehta ભરતભાઈ !.....તમે તેમની મહાનતાને શ્રેષ્ઠ અંજલી આપી છે. હું પણ, આજથી તેમના સંબંધી લખાયેલ તમામ સાહિત્યને મેળવવાનો પ્રયાસનો પ્રારભ કરી રહ્યો છું.. આ તો મારો નિર્ણય જ છે...હું તેમના કાર્ય અને વિચારો ઉપર જીવું ત્યાં સુધી લખતો રહેવાનો છું....અને મારું લખાણ મારા ખર્ચે..મારા સાહસે પ્રકાશિત પણ કરીશ.....મને આતાતુર્ક મુસ્તફા સંબંધી જ્ઞાન હમણા જ થયું.....આપણા ફેસબૂકના સક્રિય કવિ અને લેખકશ્રી નરેશભાઈ ડોડિઆની નોંધ વાંચીને.....મારું લખાણ આ મહાપુરુષને એક દાર્શનિક સંદર્ભમાં રજુ કરે છે....જ્યારે અન્યોએ તેમને ઈતિહાસ અને રાજનીતિના સંદર્ભમાં રજૂ કર્યા છે. આ વિષયમા રસ લેવા બદલ હું આપનો ખૂબ જ આભારી છું.....હું મારું લખાણ અહીં જ નોંધના વિભાગમા મૂકીશ જે વાચકો માટે હંમેશ ઉપલબ્ધ રહેવાનું છે.
