Indian Musicisn Allauddinkhan

Ustad Allauddinkhan was a simbol of committed worshipper of secular Indian culture He was a versatile vocalist and was expert player of musiducsl instruments like Tablas,Violin,Dilruba,Fluite,,Piyano,Harmonium,Clerionet, etc.

     His great grandfather  was a Dashgranthi Brahmin ,his name Dinanath Dev SharmaDinanath was a poor man and starvation drove him to an abandoned Kalika Temple and  started as a worshipper in the temple.His son mixed with s robber gang of Kukiya and started acting like Robin Hood ,robbing the wealthy and distributing the spoils among the poor.

      At that time Robert Clive was Governor General and was very strict with the robbers and dacoits and had announced big prizes for unformation on such criminals and so Dinanath's son converted to Islam , kept hisnane as Siraji ,and continued the criminal career.

     Siraji was root of the family then came his nephew Jafar Mahammad,his son Madar Hussain, his son Sadhukhan and Allauddin  ( His proper  name was Alam )was born to Sadhukhan couple in 1862 in the village Shivpur of Tripura Kingdom.

  Shadhukhan was a farmer but was very fond of music .Whenever there was any music program any where in the village, Sadhukhan used to attend it .

       Alam kham had love for music since childhood  and his father engaged music teachers for his education .So Alam became more devoted to music .
