There is story behind story. This movie was based on a true story in Bombay . Nanavati was a naval officer and Ahuja was his friend. As naval officer nanavati used to remain away from home for long time. Ahuja took advantage of his absence and fell in love with his wife. Nanavati came to know of it , once returned unannounced , went to Ahuja,s house , had a heated argument , shot Ahuja dead. ------- The post mortem on Ahuja was performed by Dr. R.M. Jhala . Later he was appoiunted as Civil Surgeon in Junagadh and was our neighbour, our bunglow Giri Vihar , was just near his house. We had good time in Junagadh, Then we lost touch with him as I was also transferred . Then after retirement he joined as Supdt. M.O. in Bhatiya Hospital , Grant Road , Bombay and we met there when I was admitted to Bhatiya Hospital for a minor surgery in 1975 or 1976 . We had good time then , I rushed back to my place as big riots were on. Then again I lost touch . Whenever I listen to the songs of " Ye raste Hai Pyar ke ", I remember him !

Nehru was very jealous of the knowledge of Ambedkar ,.2. he was jealous of the popularity of Subhash Chandra Bose.Nehru was suffering from his own inadequacies and inferiority complex that he started excluding these adversaries one by one and taking advantage of Brahmin dominated media he demonised them particularly M.Jinnah.Nehru did not allow a statue of Subhash Bose.The solitary statue of Subhash Bose remained in Tripura 3 He was jealous of the legal knowledge and talent of M. Jinnah, 4 he was jealous of practical politics and political shrewdness of Vallabhabhai Patel . This negative qualities have done greater harm to india and pakistan. Look to Nagpur Congress Session he kept silent when Jinnah was humiliated by Hinduwadi Congressmen, he got Ambedkar defeated the very next moment after drafting the constitution. He drove Jinnah to the conviction of partition. He made position of Vallabhbhai Patel in the Union Ministry uncomfortable and Patel had put up his resignation. .......... The only lion hearted man among the leaders whom he disliked was M Jinnah as he had well understood since 1930s that after compromise with Motilal nehru Gandhi was sure put to designate Nehru as his political heir and that in course of time, Nehru would become PM and if the Muslims were not separated , they would come under brute majority of Hindu Orthodoxy. and also that Nehru would bring Brahmanism back to Rule and democracy would be reduced to a show piece. Ambedkar failed to share the vision of Jinnah and that is why the Dalits are suffering on account of his unwillingness to take risk as Jinnah did. ------------------

Caste Ridden Diamond Industry

How the Diamond Industry came to monopolize the politics of Gujjarat ?This is a Sociological Essay on Diamond Business:------------------Sir, we are talking of discrimination on basis of religion. here the entire Diamond business is monopolized by the Patels from Saurashtra region of Gujarat. There were all castes and communities in the business. Earlier before the Patels penetrated into this business , the Jains were masters of the business. Then Patels made a small beginning in the business by training 4 Patels in polishing the diamonds in Bombay , The 4 prepared 4 x 4 x 4x 4 x4 . This arithmetic went on and on and a time came when more than 50 % of the diamond polishers ( we called them Hira Ghasus and were not fit for giving status and respect ). Then slowly tjhe Patels went on acquiring small polishing factories , then they expanded the small factories and grabbed whole-sale market of rough diamond. What is a rough diamond ? The diamond are mined from mines of Africa , they are in rough shape and appearance , they are to be cut into various sizes and each rough diamond is to be polished on a ghanti, a circular revolving metalic plate, After polishing it from all direction , a diamond gets ready for ornamental or machine uses. Why machines also ? There are machines which have different parts in it and some parts are to be kept separate and also in touch with each other and so, some device is to be placed between them that can bear the weight and shock, This is called " Tolerance of the device " , Since the Diamonds were there in the earth since thousands of years , they absorbed tremendous tolerance power . It is here that the diamonds having enough tolerance are placed in the machineries. If the diamonds are raw or duplicate they cannot bear the weight and shock and the machines crumble. Some Patels expertised in manufacturing duplicate diamonds and mixed them with the natural diamonds and made too much fast money . This dishonest practice was called " Badla diamond business ". Now the Patels set their sights on corporatising small and medium factories and many many such units were assimilated into the big factories, the owners of such factories were made to work as managers in the Corporate Factories, such Big Diamond Houses employ 5000 or more workers, They are not given any benefits of leave, PF, housing etc and great exploitation with the blessings of Govts go on since years. Since there were lakhs of workers in a small area, a well oiled Constitutuency for political motives was immly prepared and the diamond merchants became big Political Leaders and are monopolising political diaspora in Gujarat. Count the number of Patels of Saurashtra and Madhya Gujarat in Guj Govt and see their portfolios. All powerful portfolios are grabbed by them .-------------------------- The Patels who worked as Ganotiyas ( Share Croppers ) on the farms of the Xatriyas in Saurashtra, were over night turned into owners of the lands, on account of Bombay Govt.'s policy of " One who cultivates farm, is owner of the farm --- in simple Gujarati it is called " Khede teni Jamin " The Agriculture Minister was Morarji Desai and CM was Balasaheb Kher. They turned this army of slaves working on the farms of the Darbars ( Rajputs ) into Jamindars and Farmers . ------ After bringing the entire business under their feet, the real character of Patels started shining. There are two sub-castes in Patels , one is Kadva Patels and 2 Leuva Patels. The Leuva Patels in earlier times centuries back migrated from central Asia and we re violent in nature. The Kadva Patels were rather locals but a cultured lot. The Leuvas started cornering money and became wealthier , The kadva patels are middle class , shop owners,doing small businesses but living within cultured limits. It is not so with the leuvas. The leuvas as they drove away different castes and communities ( there were all castes and sub castes like Shudras, SCs, Muslims in the business as small or medium factory owners then , but these Patels drove them out of the business . Well how ? Once whole sale business came into their hands , they stopped giving rough diamonds to these non-Patel communities, they were starved of raw material and their labourers deserted them and joined the factories of the Patels. Virtually , the non-Patels were wiped out from the Diamond Business. They selected either , except Muslims, to join Patel Empire or 2 started doing other businesses. Some became ricksawwala, some pan pattiwalas etc. Now the Leuvas did the same thing with their Kadva patels and drove them out of the Diamond Business. ----------  The Indian Constitution dictates abolition Caste System while this Diamond Induastry is rooted in Caste System only. People of a particular caste are recruited as labourers, Managers and now we see in recent happening that the Industry's leading Light had adopted Communal color . As such the Diamond Industry us a fraud on Constitution . This Diamond Business is a shame on India's Secular Constitution.

A kavi sammelan cum Mushaira was held under the auspices of Vichar Goshti in Surat . I also sang my gazal ! --- सूरातकी संस्था " विचार गोष्टी " की निश्रामे। एक कवि सम्मेलन और मुशायरेका आयोजन कुछ वक्त पहले कीया गया था। तो हमने भी हमारी एक गजल पेश कीथी .।
