Develop Independent Image   -  K.L.Saigal

                The famous Hindi singer Mukesh had memorized number of songs of Saigal and  was imitating  him. Once he went to Saigal and started singing Saigal’s songs , Saigal was very much pleased   on hearing the voice of Mukesh, but he advised him,

                

                 “ When you can sing so nicely, why are you imitating Saigal ?You should develop your caliber in your own way  and create an image of a singer  independently . If you will create an independent identity of a singer , then only you  will accomplish some thing in life “

                 Mukesh took this advice by heart and charted  an independent course, he contacted poets, musicians, directors .He met his equals in Raj Kapur, Shakar   Jaikishan and the trio made history on Hindi Screen !  Some of his very famous songs are 1. Aansu bhari hai ye jeevanki rahe ( Parvarish ) 2.kahee door jab din dhal jaaye ( Aanand ) 3. Chalari sajani ab kyaa soche ( Bambaika Baabu ) 4. Tumhe jeendageeke ujaale mubaarak ,  andhere hame aaj raas aagaye hai (  Purnimaa )  5. Jinhe ham bhulana chahe, vo aksar yad aatehay(  Abaru )  6. Bhuli hui yado hame itna na satao (  Sanyog )  7. Muze tumse kuchhabhi na chaahiye ( Kanhaiya ) 8. Vakta karata jo vafa , aap hamare hote (  Dilne Pukara ) 9. Suhani Chandni rate hame sone nahi deti ( Mukti ) .
