The Art of Face Reading and International Diplomacy------------------Speech is the great concealer of our real intentions. When Khrushchev had visited India, one journalist asked him " what do you need in USSR ? " He bluntly said , " We are in dire need of mind readers. " It is difficult to find out real intentions of hostility when protestations of friendship and peace abound in the diplomatic dialogues.See the behavior of Chor En Lai when he talked with Nehru on several occasions . Nehru was not a mind reader, so he believed in Chou's tongue .and war came out of Chou's mouth .Similar thing happened when Indian PM Bajpai went to Lahore and talked peace with Nawaz Shatif. During the talks incursions in Kargil was going on with full speed and Bajpai was not a clever mind reader and was easily fooled by the sweet tongue of Nawaz Sharif. Only today I read from page no.952 of "Rise and Fall of the Third Reich "by William Shirer that Hitler got the Dutch diplomats in talks and when the talks were going on,German armies attacked Natherland. Hitler was a great mind reader and he cheated Stalin also .He went on talking with England and cleverly prevented Enhland's help to Poland and Poland was isolated and finally annexed .
