I had to write like this in reply to a jurist friend in view of the euphoria generated by RSS BJP combine across the country, putting forward the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.Sir, it happened like this. THERE was a time when the entire India had become Buddhist and the priestly caste of Hinduism were rendered jobless, moneyless. So they collected together and started thinking on capturing imagination of thr masses in view of thr dry scrptures of Buddhism Which would restore Hinduism. So they invented these stories like Masaledar Bollywood films family feuds, jealousy , political tricks, wars, etc and presented the Buddhist masses with Maha Bharat and Ramayan. Masses liked these Masaledar mixture of human psychology, politics and their brain was captured, it is in bondage even now too, and their question instinct was robbed by the mesmerism of poetical narration. Otherwise how would lakhs of people would come to believe that one arrow multiplies into thousands while in air and how a laquer palace would be built with our labour force and with Mantras ? Or why God should become a chariot driver of Arjun instead of wielding his divine might ?
