Yesterday we attended Annual Sports Day held by Zee Littera School , on Dandi Road. My grand son Harshal scored the highest 3 Prizes in the meet. I shall post the photos of receiving the Prizes fr the video of the school later on. My mobile photos are not clear as it was already dark and my mobile has no competent lenses !

Going to the School in an Air Conditioned van ! Can you believe his grand father had no chappals on his feet up to he went to the College ? And the cycle I got was from LIC on loan in the year prob. 1965 ! It cost Rs. 200-00 then and was carried to Junagadh Police Trng College and back in Surat. When I attended parade, my PSIs came on motor cycles and some in cars, yet when I stood on saluting Base, they fell in line and gave me General Salute with music of Police Band !

Bharatbhai R Pandya I do not believe this. More over I am concerned with his thoughts and thinking process. What he did in the Ashrams is of no concern to me. That way in stead of examining a person's thoughts you would go on spying on his deeds and forget all about the ideas and thinking process. Just because an internee stated some things is not enough to believe her. Such people are called ' Tainted Witnesses ' .

Bharatbhai R Pandya Sir, Bharatbhai mehta,Thank you for elaborating your stand. I was also a lover of Indian Philosophy during my early days of college life . Though it was not my subject, i was attracted to it since my High School days. The atmosphere around 1940s whole over India was that of Philosophic trend. In our areas Bhajans were kept and some times the singer would explain to the audience the meaning of Atma, Parmatma, Purushaarth, and what not. But this did not change the Hindu Society at all and with the advent of freedom the Hindu Society lapsed into the olden days' thinking pattern and left the parivartan to the politicians. It is none of the business of philosophy to change the society , but philosophy should at least teach humanity, fraternity to the Society , otherwise what is the use of ' MOX ' , divinity or so ? Philosophy had left the touch with the daily life and ground realities of Hindu Society , it just floated above the spheres and then I left it ! I again came into contact with Philosophy during 1970s through Rajnishji and I liked his approach of mixing philosophy with the grounbd realities of the Hindu Society . I liked his approach and recognised him as the greatest Indian who wanted to change the thinking pattern of Society but the vested Dharmatmas, particularly the jains were after his blood and financed attacks on him whereever he went. ---------- I was so much a lover of Osho during these times that I purchased his books of thousands of Rs. , unluckily most of them were destroyed in floods. The most I liked of him were 1. Dekh Kabira Roya 2. Bharatke Jalte Prasna 3. Volumes on kabir 4. All 4 volumes of Jin Sutra 5. Krishna and many titles . I feel sorry that such a great man who wanted to change the thinking pattern of the Hindu Society and who drew attention to Gandhi's backwardness has come to be attacked by his one time associates who could not carve out any respectable place for them after his demise. India has produced only one thinking Saint and that is Acharya Rajnish.-------- Will you pl guide me how that Christianity and Islam have loosened their roots from philosophy and what relation do these actions have in advancement of various knowledge systems including physics, chemistyry, geography, astronomy, psychology, etc ?

BJP Ministers should take lessons fr this family on how to run a multi-community State and society

This joint family consisting of 33 members are living together since years. It is only 8 months that BJP is in power and it has started sowing seeds of division of the country on caste and community lines. Same thing had happened in 1947 . ---- I feel the entire Cabinet of Narendra Modi should visit this family of Varachhaa Road, Surat and learn the art of keeping a society composed of different castes, communities, religions together. When USA praises you, just be on guard !

This is alright. But when USA praises one, he/she should start remaining on guard. It would have some deep strategy in making one sleepy so that the attacked person does not offer any resistance. It is just like administering anesthesia before undertaking surgery, the doctors do this daily and the politicians once in 10 years ! ----------- 2. Do you kn ow what the Foreign Minister of USA Mrs. Fullbright had announced before attacking Iraq ? She simply said that " Looking to historical evidences, Kuwait always belonged to Iraq. " Bas anesthesia de diyaa ! Iraq President till then was No. 1 friend of USA , Saddam Hussen believed this statement to be green signal to him for attacking Kuwait, USA was waiting for this opportunity and within 24 hours it changed its colors and started blaming Iraq for subjugating a small State ! The rest is history. Learn from it the policy of self-interests .Pakistan is master in this diplomacy , it gets support from both USA and China.----- The British Governor Generals were master politicians, our politicians never learn from them and the first idiot PM was Nehru who sacrificed thousands of KM area to China without understanding the long term aims of China.

We have come over to Mumbai for performing the last rites of my wife
Smt. Champaben.She was born and brought up in Mumbai and was educated up to SSC in Suniti High School, just near Naaz Theatre on Lamington Road, a road leading to Chowpati.

In fact, I do not believe in religious ceremonies, but she was quite religious by heart, kept fast on appointed days, and visited temples regularly. She scolded me for not believing in God and that was the reason why , in stead of me, she was punished by God. That was her thinking. But I respected her right to believe in Gods and took her to various temples on my scooter and she was happy.

I used to carry her whenever I went to the City, Saiyedpura our ancestral home, Navsari Bazar our old house and where not.

People could hardly see me alone, she was a natural companion on the scooter and people never thought of me alone.I took her to the Barma ceremonies when ever possible and our community people had gives us a nick name of " Ram-Sitani Jodi "

So we immersed some ashes of hers in Tapi river on 19th Oct 14 and had preserved some ashes for immersion in Bombay where she was born, brought up, educated and married.

There is a holy place a pond ( Talav) below Malbar Hills in Bombay.There is a hearsay , lokvayka, among the Hindus that Lord Ram had shot an arrow into the sky and it fell in this pond and the Hindus started immersing the ashes of their dead into this pond. It is called Baan-Ganga"I and Nilesh immersed Champaben's ashes into this Baan Ganga yesterday .

It was my desire to hand over her ashes to the same earth where she was born, brought up and married.

Champabene mumbaima janm lidho, mumbaima uchhrya ane mumbaini dhartimaa samaai gaya.

An epoch in our life is over.
